Rhinoceros Auklet

Cerorhinca monocerata

This auklet, which is related to the puffin, is a large-headed, thick-necked grey seabird. The rhinoceros auklet is often found along the Pacific coast, and can be distinguished during breeding season by its white eye tufts and yellow "horn" at the base of its bill.
